Atlantic White Shark Conservancy event

Yesterday we met with Cynthia from the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.  This non profit helps raise money to fund the research and tagging of white sharks in our waters.  Did you know that it costs upwards of $4000/day to run the tagging boat and the spotter plane?  The state doesn’t pay for it. We are partnering with them to host a fundraiser in July at our barn, featuring speaker and shark researcher extraordinaire Greg Skomal.  Yes, same guy from the Discover Channel shark week shows.  We’ll be having an auction, followed by an outdoor screening of some shark week episodes.  More details to come soon!  http://www.atlanticwhiteshark.org/ Watch the video and see what they do!...
